Majin Buu — The Story Behind the Figure
For fans of Dragon Ball Z, the chaotic, candy-loving powerhouse Majin Buu is an unforgettable villain. Capturing his unique energy in a collectible can be a challenge, but Bandai’s Dragon Stars line has stepped up to the plate. The big question for collectors, however, is this: is the Dragon Stars Majin Buu figure worth it for your shelf? This review dives deep into the details of this 6.5-inch figure to see if it delivers the power and presence of the iconic pink menace.
The Legend of Majin Buu
Majin Buu is an ancient and primordial creature, existing since time immemorial. He was summoned by the evil wizard Bibidi millions of years before the events of Dragon Ball Z. In his pure form, Kid Buu, he was a being of pure, instinctual destruction, wiping out entire galaxies for sport. After absorbing several Supreme Kais, he transformed into the portly, child-like ‘Fat Buu’ and was sealed away on Earth. When Bibidi’s clone, Babidi, unsealed him, Buu’s immense power and unpredictable nature once again threatened the entire universe, leading to some of the most intense battles in the series.
