HAN SOLO
Join Han Solo’s newest adventure
The wait it almost over… Han Solo is back in action, and you’re not going to want to miss it. For those of you who don’t know what we’re talking about, Solo: A Star Wars Story
(or simply,‘Solo’) comes out in select countries May 23 and will be released May 25, worldwide. But,
before you check your schedule, call your friends, and buy tickets,
be sure to check out the incredible selection of Star Wars toys as well.
Director Ron Howard is taking us on the ultimate adventure back in time, re-acquainting
audiences with a young Han Solo, documenting his escapades with co-pilot and OG Wookiee
Chewbacca, and their first encounter with the infamous Lando Calrissian. We’re going back to
where it all began.
If you needed even more incentive to see the film, Solo: A Star Wars Story also features
an all-star cast. Alden Ehrenreich steps into character as Han Solo (a role formerly and famously
played by Harrison Ford – he’s got big shoes to fill), David Glover is a young Calrissian, and
Emilia Clarke, who you’ll recognize from Game of Thrones, plays Qi’Ra. Solo also stars Woody
Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany and Jon Favreau.
Make room for a new set of Star Wars toys
Here’s a short preview of some of the toys available.
First off, Alden Ehrenreich is getting the proper Star Wars welcome, in the form of a 3.75 inch
Han Solo toy. It’s included in the sleek Kessel Run Millennium Falcon starship, which is complete
with lights, sounds, a captain’s quarters, and a unique tapered nose.
You can also add Qi’Ra, Calrissian, and Chewbacca to your collection of Star Wars toys. Young
Qi’Ra is portrayed in her speeder-racing days, and young Calrissian has his characteristic
eyebrow raised. We can’t say Chewbacca looks so different, as he’s already hundreds of years
old, but he is sporting a fancier bandolier. Solo also offers a new kind of Stormtrooper, the
Imperial Range Trooper, which seems like a combination of Rogue One’s Stormtrooper and The
Empire Strikes Back’s Snowtrooper.
