TMNT’s Ultimate Evil Turtle: A Closer Look at the NECA Slash Figure
For collectors of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe, finding a figure that perfectly captures the essence of a beloved character is a singular joy. That’s exactly what we’re diving into with our NECA TMNT Cartoon Slash figure review. This isn’t just another turtle; this is Slash, the hulking, spiked-up anti-hero (and sometimes villain) from Dimension X, brought to life with the incredible detail NECA is famous for. Is this the ultimate evil turtle your collection has been missing? Let’s find out.
The Legend of Slash: From Pet to Powerhouse
Before he was a formidable foe for the Ninja Turtles, Slash was simply Spike, Raphael’s pet turtle. After an unfortunate encounter with a canister of Mutagen, Spike transformed into the massive, intelligent, and fiercely independent turtle known as Slash. Initially driven by a warped sense of justice and a deep-seated anger, his journey has seen him as both a dangerous enemy and a reluctant ally to the heroes in a half-shell. His story is one of tragedy and conflict, making him one of the most compelling characters in the TMNT lore.
