The Legend of the Yautja
First appearing in the 1987 film Predator, the Jungle Hunter was a member of the Yautja, an extraterrestrial species that travels the cosmos in search of the most dangerous game. It arrived on Earth to stalk and hunt an elite special forces team, demonstrating superior strength, advanced technology including cloaking and plasma weaponry, and a brutal code of honor. Its clash with Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer remains one of cinema’s most legendary showdowns, cementing the Predator as a pop culture icon.
